We specialize in home decor, kitchenware, fun and unique gifts, vintage items, upcycled furniture and wares, and, of course, penny candy, pickles, and fudge. You’ll also find our line of furniture chalk paint, and we look forward to hosting creative workshops for our community.

Owners Mary Pat and Brian McSharry have owned and operated Closet & Storage Concepts, a custom closet and storage company, for 25 + plus years. In searching for a building to call their own, they discovered the historic Mansfield Country Store. Drawn to its quirky charm and rich history dating back to 1829 (hence our name), they quickly realized how much the building and store meant to the community. It was at that point that 1829 Country Store was founded and is currently operated by Mary Pat and her daughter, Megan.

While most of the existing building is dedicated to Closet & Storage Concepts, 1829 Country Store & Modern Vintage Market occupies the oldest part of the original building, located in the front with the squeaky door and beautiful original wood floors.

Although the “Old Country Store and Emporium” has closed down, we invite you to come and visit 1829 Country Store. Take a trip down memory lane while you witness a new generation of memories and traditions being built.
