1829 Country Store & Modern Vintage Market is our fresh take on “The Old Country Store”. We specialize in home decor, kitchenware, fun and unique gifts, vintage items, upcycled furniture and wares, and of course, penny candy, pickles, and fudge. We also offer a line of furniture chalk paint and will be holding creative workshops.

The owners, Mary Pat and Brian McSharry have owned and operated a custom closet and storage company for more than 21 years – Closet & Storage Concepts.  When they decided to look for a building they could own for their business, they found the building that housed the Mansfield Country Store.  Being a little quirky and unconventional, they quickly decided this was the building for them!  They loved the history of the building that was originally established in 1829 (hence the name 1829 Country Store), and soon learned how much the building and the store meant to the community.  It was at that point that 1829 Country Store was founded. 

While most of the existing building is dedicated to Closet & Storage Concepts, 1829 Country Store & Modern Vintage Market has downsized to focus on providing the best possible country store experience.  1829 is in the front, the oldest part of the building, with the squeaky door and beautiful original wood floors.

While the “Old Country Store and Emporium” has shut down and ceased operation in Mansfield, come and visit 1829 Country Store, we’re sure you will find something to love about our new country store.
